6 months on ……

It has been 6 months since I started a new chapter in my professional career with the launch of DHC Capital. Exciting, exhilarating, opportunistic, creative, passionate .... are a few words that come to mind as I look back on the last 6 months. Time has just flown by - between the client execution, marketing and pitching, identifying new opportunities and the hundred and one things that need to be done when you start up a new business it is no wonder that it feels like yesterday that we launched.

Where are we 6 months on - We have won work and delivered to clients on our promises and work products. We are tracking ahead of plan and are cash flow positive. A promising start to a long journey ahead.

Reflecting back - Leaving the comfort and stability of a job at an established company to pursue an entrepreneurial endeavour was the best decision I could have made. Stepping out of my comfort zone has forced me to challenge myself, work smarter and more efficiently (not work less), recharge my creativity, allowed me to build my brand and find a better work-life balance.
