Jeffrey is the former Chief Executive Officer at SooChow CSSD Capital Markets (Asia) Pte Ltd (“SCCM”), with overall responsibility for origination and execution of investment banking transactions in South-East Asia. Prior to his appointment as Chief Executive Officer at SCCM, he held various senior positions within the Religare Capital Markets group, including Head of Investment Banking and Chief Operating Officer for the group. Prior to joining Religare Capital Markets, Jeffrey practised law at Allen & Gledhill LLP before working at UBS AG, initially, as a member of the Transactions Legal team covering South-East Asia and India and, subsequently, as an investment banker in the Equity Capital Markets team.
Jeffrey was awarded Singapore In-house Lawyer of the Year at the Asian Legal Business South-East Asia Law Awards 2009 and was a member of the Auditing and Assurance Standards Committee in the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore (now known as the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants) for the 2009/2010 term.
