David Chew recognised as a Senior Accredited Director by the Singapore Institute of Directors

David Chew was recognised as a Senior Accredited Director under the Singapore Institute of Directors (“SID”) Director Accreditation Programme on 8 February 2024.

David Chew, DHC Capital Partner, said “I am delighted to be recognised as a Senior Accredited Director by the Singapore Institute of Directors. The accreditation reinforces SID’s objectives in ensuring that qualified directors that uphold to the highest standards of corporate governance, ethical conduct and leadership excellence are admitted to the industry.”

David Chew, further said “The appointment of qualified professionals to interim management roles (e.g. CRO, interim CEO and interim CFO) and/or as directors to the Board of corporates facing financial stress or distress is becoming an increasingly important aspect of the financial and operational restructuring process and a key driver in delivering successful outcomes. It is imperative to bring in the right people in these business critical situations where the stakes are high and there is no time for learning on the job.”

We have professionals that can be deployed immediately, are externally accredited, have specialist expertise in restructuring, turnaround, rescue financing and distressed M&A and a track record in director and interim management appointments supporting corporates involved in a restructuring process or on behalf of creditors and investors to monitor and protect their investments.”
